VEROPAL ART 430 is a clear, dense, two-component, self-leveling and UV-resistant epoxy resin suitable for artistic work, epoxy painting, geode art, pouring thin (especially top surface) layers around 1-5 mm. Certified for food contact. Produces a beautiful flat, hard surface with minimal shrinkage and high gloss. Due to its density , it keeps colours sharply separated, colours do not bleed into each other. It cures quickly, the non-coloured layer is clear and very hard. We recommend not to cast with it in thicknesses greater than 20 mm. It is beautifully fluid, with an easy mixing ratio and virtually odourless. It can be easily coloured or partially filled with decorative objects (rhinestones, sequins, shards, etc.).

• Usage:

  • Production of epoxy paintings and geode art.
  • Top (surface treatment) thin protective layers especially for wood (bar and table tops, etc.)
  • Production of small castings and jewellery.
  • Production of promotional items.
  • Production of layered epoxy paintings.
  • Can be used for casting and bonding of all types of materials (wood, concrete, glass, etc.) except plastics.

    

• Additional features:

  • appearance after mixing components A and B - clear watery liquid
  • dyeability - with suitable and compatible dyes and pigments (see PIGMENTS section)
  • working temperature - ideally 19-23°C. It is possible to work at lower temperatures, e.g. (10-15°C), but it is necessary to take into account the prolongation of hardening with each step down. The downward temperature slows down the curing process, the upward temperature accelerates it.
  • appearance of the unpainted layer after curing - clear, glassy
